Re: Rebatching - 1998/06/12 14:21 "Hey Caesar,
I've never re-batched a batch but have an inventory of about 900 bars of cold press soaps and have never blown a batch. I've heard of using cut up plastic lawn/garbage bags for a mold liner, (actually tried it once!). Tricky event to get it to remain flat and wrinkle-free before and during pouring.
Instead, I use Reynolds Freezer Paper to line them. I fold it "origami-style" by mitering the corners and masking tape it along the top edges to keep it in place. The mold is then inverted after 36 hrs. and the beautiful soap comes right out. Peel off the paper and "Voila"!!! I don't see why this wouldn't work for you too!
Good Luck!
