Shelf Life - 2009/05/01 05:19 Hello All!

I haven't posted in a very long time, but have been keeping up on reading everyone's posts. I haven't made soap in a very long time either! Since last fall at least.

I have been getting very excited to get back to making soap, but have had some of my supplies for a long time.

I have had my coconut for over a year and some of my liquid oils are from last year. I'm sure my 5 gallon bucket of coconut is no longer good However, I was wondering how I can tell what is good any longer?? I have my liquid oils in the fridge, so can I tell just by smelling them? I sure hate to throw everything out as I have A LOT of stuff.

Any help would be appreciated.
