Unrefined shea butter and perhaps the refined also has to be used up fairly quickly. Refrigeration can help. The unrefined shea that I use will start to turn from a nice nut brown to somewhat greyish before if flunks the sniff test but that is one to keep a close eye and nose to. How old was your shea butter anyway? Just curious. It is a wonderfull ingrediant though. I love what it does for my soap.

I'm working full time now, selling soap on Saturdays and making soap on Sundays. Keeping pretty busy. No time to get into trouble. LOL!
