Re:Denise - 2009/08/07 09:00 The problem with sunscreen (here in Canada but probably the same in the US) is that you have to do lab testing to determine the SPF factor. I did purchase a jar of Parsol crystals a few years ago but there were no instructions about the amount to use in the water phase of the formula so I never did make any! I should go hunt for that in my supplies. I could at least make some sunscreen for myself! Some ingredients like shea butter have a small SPF factor of like 2, but when you mix the shea with other stuff that SPF goes down even more... Denise
