The instructions I have are 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per pound of oil. Now about black oxide It is very potent! If you have black soap you will have black lather, black body, black washcloths... I have a red bar that does this and trust me,it ain't pretty!! Maybe you could wrap the soap in black tissue or cello? It all depends if you want your customers to actually use the soap to wash with or just display it as a decoration... HTH Denise
